Top Ten Tuesday

For my first post since my decision to include more content on my blog, I am jumping on board with Top Ten Tuesday. Today’s subject is “Books on my spring 2019 TBR”. To read all about Top Ten Tuesday, and to see what subjects are coming up, head on over to That Artsy Reader Girl where you will find all the details.

I am currently in the middle of a book buying ban, but I am breaking it this spring, as no less than four of my special exempt authors are releasing new books very soon! Exciting times ahead. As such, my first four books in my top ten are brand new releases that I can’t wait to get my hands on!

1. The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare

2. Finale by Stephanie Garber

3. The Raven Coven by Emma Miles

4. The Path Keeper by N J Simmonds

These are books that I was going to be buying regardless of blurbs and book covers because I adore these authors. That said, how gorgeous are these covers!!!

The others are tricky because the book jar experiment means I never know what I am going to get. Besides the above, I already have a couple of new books belonging to the exempt authors group, so I will be slipping these in very soon.

5. King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

6. The Wicked King by Holly Black

That just leaves four more to choose, and these are books that I have been meaning to read for ages and am hoping come out of the jar very, very soon…

7. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

8. Grim Lovelies by Megan Shepherd

9. Eve of Man by Giovanna and Tom Fletcher

10. La Belle Sauvage by Philip Pullman

I bet none of you reading through this list can guess what my favourite genre is! :o)

I would love to hear all about the books you are most excited to read this spring, so please let me know in the comments.
