Top Ten of 2018

It’s time for the obligatory “Top Ten Reads of the Year” post. Some people love them and some people hate them, but my very first post was a top ten, so it only seemed right to carry on the tradition (by the way, today is my first blogger birthday – can you believe it? It’s gone so fast!). It was so hard this year, as I have discovered some amazing authors that I hadn’t come across before, and have also enjoyed books by my favourite authors. Anyway, after much deliberation, I have decided on my top ten, some of which I have reviewed already, and a couple who I owe a review to (coming soon I promise).  I couldn’t possibly put these wonderful books into an order of preference, but here they are:

Here are the links to my reviews for the ones I have done:

The Lights of Time – Paul Ian Cross

The Raven Tower – Emma Miles

Crooked Daylight – Helen Slavin

Legendary – Stephanie Garber

The Songs of Us – Emma Cooper

A Dangerous Game – Madeline Dyer

The Toymakers – Robert Dinsdale

Reflected Destinies – Florence Keeling

Hopefully, you will discover some new favourites of your own amongst this list. What have been your favourite reads from 2018?
