Our penultimate review today is…
BLURB:
Izzie has the perfect plan for a perfect life. Work hard, get married, settle down, start a family. But when a mysterious Valentine’s day card arrives, asking in a bold scrawl, ‘Will you marry me?’, it upends everything.
Because Izzie thought she’d found Mr Right – and the card isn’t from him.
Puzzled, she sets out to discover the identity of her secret admirer . . . and is shocked by the truth. Torn in two directions, Izzie doesn’t know what to do.
Should she stick to the plan, or is it time to take life in a bold new direction?
REVIEW:
This book starts in such an intriguing manner that it grabs you by the hand and refuses to let go. Lucky that it is a great book to curl up with and read in one sitting. It has everything that you could wish for in a romance book – tragedy, star-crossed lovers, a full whirlwind of emotions, and a twist in the tale. Amongst all this, Beth Good’s humour continues to shine through with yet another lovable heroine and pulse rate increasing hero.
You would think by now having read these books one after the other that they would be getting repetitive, but they really don’t. Each book is beautifully individual, and hosts a wonderful, unique cast of characters.
Awww, thank you so much for these wonderful reviews, Mai. I’m really, truly touched. You are the person I write these books for. The person who gets what I’m trying to do. So THANK YOU.
